Preview Roundups

Los Angeles at Washington 12:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Kings won their last five games and will test that hot streak against the league’s top team when they visit the Washington Capitals for a Sunday matinee. The Kings surrendered only three goals during their surge to move into the first wild-card spot in the Western Conference after Jeff Carter scored the overtime winner in a 1-0 triumph at Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon.
Edmonton at Montreal 1:00 PM ET
After a season in which no Canadian team reached the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time in 46 years, two clubs that appear to be in good shape to reach the 2016-17 postseason meet Sunday when the Montreal Canadiens host the Edmonton Oilers. The Canadiens lead the Atlantic Division while the Oilers are starting to leak a bit with a three-game losing streak but still hold a six-point advantage over Los Angeles for third place in the Pacific.
Calgary at NY Rangers 2:00 PM ET
The Calgary Flames, who looked as though they were fading out of the playoff picture a few weeks ago, can extend their winning streak to four games when they visit the New York Rangers on Sunday. The Flames lost six of seven (1-5-1) before earning a 3-2 overtime victory over Ottawa before the All-Star break and followed up with wins over Minnesota and New Jersey.
