Preview Roundups
December 26, 2017
Indiana at Detroit 7:00 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons are battling for second place in the Central Division behind the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Pistons have the edge in the head-to-head matchups so far. The Pacers will try to get off to a better start and even the four-game season series at two wins apiece when they visit Detroit on Tuesday.
Toronto at Dallas 7:00 PM ET
The Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers still get most of the headlines and the Christmas Day showcases, but it's the Toronto Raptors who own the fewest losses and the longest winning streak in the Eastern Conference. The Raptors will try to extend their run to seven straight victories and keep the pressure on the Celtics and Cavaliers when they visit the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.
Orlando at Miami 7:30 PM ET
Two teams dealing with a litany of injuries square off when the Miami Heat host the struggling Orlando Magic on Tuesday. The missing players for Miami include center Hassan Whiteside (knee) and shooting guard Dion Waiters (ankle) while center Nikola Vucevic (broken index finger) is the latest Orlando player to go down.
Chicago at Milwaukee 8:00 PM ET
The Chicago Bulls appeared to turn the corner with seven consecutive victories but back-to-back losses to two of the NBA's better teams stifled that momentum. Chicago attempts to break the brief skid and defeat Milwaukee for the second time in less than two weeks when it visits the Bucks on Tuesday.
Brooklyn at San Antonio 8:30 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs seldom have issues when they host the Brooklyn Nets. San Antonio attempts to record its 15th consecutive home win against the Nets when the teams meet on Tuesday, and the streak began after a 92-86 loss on Jan. 22, 2002.
Utah at Denver 9:00 PM ET
The Denver Nuggets are coming off an easy road win against the defending NBA champions and have a shot at their first three-game winning streak in well over a month when they host the Utah Jazz on Tuesday. The Nuggets rolled past the banged-up Golden State Warriors 96-81 on Saturday to cap an impressive 2-0 road trip, which bumped Denver's road mark to 7-12, compared to 11-3 at home.
Memphis at Phoenix 9:00 PM ET
Phoenix star guard Devin Booker is expected back in the lineup on Tuesday when the Phoenix Suns host the Memphis Grizzlies. Booker missed the past nine games due to a groin injury and the Suns are just 3-6 during his absence.
Sacramento at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers will try to extend a home winning streak while the Sacramento Kings seek their third road victory in a row when the teams tangle at the Staples Center on Tuesday. The Clippers haven't lost in Los Angeles since Dec. 6, although they've played just three home games in that span and have piled up some road losses in that span, including Saturday's 115-112 loss at Memphis.
