Joel Embiid had 26 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists to lift the Philadelphia 76ers past the visiting New York Knicks 117-91 on Wednesday.

Embiid secured his league-best 21st double-double. In addition, he put together his 18th game with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds.

JJ Redick added 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting while Ben Simmons contributed 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Philadelphia. Furkan Korkmaz scored 11 points and Mike Muscala had 10 as the Sixers won their second in a row.

The Sixers also improved to 11-1 at home while posting their sixth victory in seven games.

Enes Kanter produced 17 points and six rebounds for the Knicks, and Mario Hezonja also had 17 points.

Damyean Dotson scored 16 points as the Knicks dropped their second straight. The Knicks have lost five consecutive games to the Sixers.

The Sixers jumped out to a 41-27 lead by the end of the first quarter and extended their advantage to 55-31 early in the second on a thunderous one-handed dunk by Embiid.

New York struggled with its shooting the entire first half, going 2 of 18 from beyond the arc.

Embiid scored 17 points and Redick added 14 on 6-of-7 shooting as the Sixers pulled out to a 68-48 lead at halftime.

Kanter was the lone bright spot for the Knicks before the break with 15 points and six rebounds.

The Knicks missed 21 of their first 23 3-point tries, including 18 in a row during one rough stretch, and the Sixers led 76-53 less than five minutes into the third.

When Jimmy Butler drained a 3-pointer from the wing with 3:14 left in the third, the Sixers bolted ahead 86-58.

The Sixers held a commanding 93-68 advantage after the third.

Redick continued his hot shooting, and after he knocked down his fourth trey, the Sixers led 99-72 early in the fourth.

Muscala hit a deep 3-pointer and the Sixers went up 30 at 106-76.

Philadelphia wound up with 34 assists on 47 baskets.
