Ezequiel Duran had a sacrifice fly and a run-scoring single as part of a three-hit night as the visiting Texas Rangers made it two in a row in manager Bruce Bochy's homecoming against a former team with a 9-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Saturday night.

Mitch Garver drove in three runs with three hits, and Corey Seager chipped in with two hits, three runs and two RBIs for the Rangers, who won for the 10th time in their last 11 games.

After the Giants had countered a Seager solo home run with a run of their own in the first inning, the visitors took charge in a three-run fourth inning. Garver and Leody Tavares singles sandwiched Duran's sacrifice fly for the runs against Giants starter Alex Cobb (6-4).

Michael Conforto got the hosts back within 4-2 with his 14th home run of the season in the bottom of the inning, but the Rangers pulled away in the fifth with two more runs that ended Cobb's night.

After loading the bases with one out against Cobb, the Rangers' runs came with Alex Wood on the mound on a sacrifice fly by Julio Pablo Martinez and Duran's two-out single.

Cobb was charged with all six runs on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings. He walked two and struck out three.

The Rangers pulled their starter, Andrew Heaney, after just 1 1/3 innings after he loaded the bases with one out. Grant Anderson (2-1) came on to get out of the jam and went on to throw 2 2/3 innings, limiting the Giants to just one run.

Chris Stratton followed with three shutout innings, allowing one hit, before Josh Sborz and Brock Burke finished up.

A Marcus Semien triple ignited a three-run ninth that put the game on ice. Seager had an RBI single and Garver a two-run single in the clincher.

Seager's earlier homer was his 20th of the season.

Giants rookie Heliot Ramos belted his first major league home run in the last of the ninth to cap the game's scoring.

Duran finished with two RBIs, while Adolis Garcia and Nathaniel Lowe had two hits and two runs apiece for Texas. The Rangers went 7-for-15 with runners in scoring position, while the Giants had just one hit in 12 such at-bats.

Conforto and Thairo Estrada had two hits each for the Giants, who were out-hit 16-9 en route to the sixth loss in their last seven games.
