Nolan Arenado homered for the second straight game, Pat Valaika also went deep and the Colorado Rockies beat the Oakland Athletics 4-1 in Denver on Saturday night.

Carlos Gonzalez had three hits, and Wade Davis pitched the ninth for his 29th save for Colorado. The Rockies have won 10 of their last 12 and improved to 15-5 in July.

Antonio Senzatela tossed 5 2/3 innings to get his first win since early July. Senzatela (4-3) was making his second start since being activated from the 10-day disabled list.

Nick Martini had two hits and scored, and Matt Chapman and Josh Phegley also had two hits for Oakland, which lost for the second straight night after a six-game winning streak.

The A's got on the board first when Martini scored on Khris Davis' sacrifice fly in the first inning. The run was allowed after a pair of reviews determined that Martini didn't violate the home plate collision rule and that he also touched home before Colorado catcher Tom Murphy tagged him.

Colorado took a 2-1 lead in the second when Murphy's triple to center drove in Gonzalez, who had doubled. Murphy then scored on Valaika's single.

Arenado stretched the lead to 3-1 when he hit his National League-leading 27th home run with one out in the third off starter Brett Anderson (2-3). Valaika made it 4-1 with his second of the season in the fourth inning.

Senzatela, who was on the 10-day DL with a blister on his finger, cruised after the first inning before tiring in the sixth. He got the first two outs before walking Stephen Piscotty and Marcus Semien. He threw a ball to Phegley, and manager Bud Black took him out after Senzatela threw a career-high 110 pitches.

Jake McGee came on and struck out Phegley to end the inning.

Reliever Seunghwan Oh, whom the Rockies acquired from Toronto on Thursday, made his Colorado debut with a scoreless seventh inning.
